Persistence has paid off for avid Crows fan Darren Round, who was named the first winner of the Club’s new Fly With Us Member Recruitment promotion.
The program was introduced for the first time this season and encourages Crows members to recruit fellow fans to join the Club as members. Both the recruiter and the new member can win a range of amazing prizes throughout the course of the season, including two tickets to this year’s AFL Grand Final.
Darren was randomly selected as the maiden winner after he successfully recruited his wife, Katie, to sign on for Season 2016. A devout Crows fan, Darren had tried for several years to convince his partner to join as a Club member.
Round’s persistence was rewarded with a team-signed guernsey, which he proudly showed off at the MCG on Sunday.
The major prize draw the Fly With Us program remains open until August 8, so there’s still plenty of time for members to get recruiting.
Other prizes still to be won include signed Sherrins, a lap of honour before the Club's Round 23 match at Adelaide Oval, a behind-the-scenes tour of Adelaide’s West Lakes headquarters, and two tickets to the prestigious Crows Club Champion presentation.
To register an entry into the prize pool, new members just needs to quote an existing member’s name and account ID at the time of purchasing. Members are permitted to enter the competition as many times as they like!
