The Crows will go into Saturday night's clash with Essendon at Eithad Stadium as named.
Young midfielder Jarryd Lyons, who was recalled to the team on Thursday night, will start as Adelaide's substitute. The Bombers are also unchanged, with forward Zach Merrett to wear the green vest.
Lyons, who has played three of the last four games for the Crows, replaced fellow young midfielder Matt Crouch in the team that beat North Melbourne. Coach Brenton Sanderson said Lyons would add versatility to the side.
“Jarryd has played some good footy for us this year. He’s showed he can play either as a midfielder or across half-forward,” Sanderson said.
“Matt is a developing player. He’s going to have his ups and downs and probably didn’t have his best game last week.”
Forward Jason Porplyzia, defender Luke Thompson and untried midfielder Rory Atkins, who has been included in the 25 for the first time, are the emergencies.
Promoted rookie Charlie Cameron was not considered for selection because of a groin complaint.
Sanderson said the Club would continue to adopt a no-risk policy with the first-year forward.
“Charlie still has some soreness in his groin,” Sanderson said.
“He’s already an important part of our side, but we want to make sure he’s 100 per cent before we bring him back.”
Young midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen will also miss this week because of a finger injury, while 2013 leading goalkicker Tom Lynch will make his return from a fractured jaw in the SANFL on Sunday. Utility Ricky Henderson will play a second State League game in his comeback from a broken leg.
The Crows will hold an open training session at AAMI Stadium from 10:00am on Friday before flying to Melbourne. The session will run for up to one hour.
