The Crows will go into Balfours Showdown XXXVI as named, with Jason Porplyzia to start as the substitute.
Brad Crouch, Brent Reilly and Mitch Grigg will start on the interchange.
Port Adelaide is also unchanged. Matthew White will wear the green vest for Port.
Earlier in the week, influential midfielder Richard Douglas was given the green light to play in Showdown XXXVI.
Douglas missed Adelaide’s season-opener after sustaining a heavy hit to his groin in Adelaide’s last pre-season game. The 2010 Crows Club Champion, who required surgery on the injury, was initially expected to miss at least a month but has made a quicker-than-expected recovery.
Coach Brenton Sanderson said Douglas had ticked all the boxes in his rehabilitation.
“Dougy has been cleared to play from a medical perspective and also feels ready within himself,” Sanderson said.
“He’s been running well for the last seven days and trained strongly this week.
“Dougy finished runner-up in our Club Champion last year and was in the All-Australian squad. He’s a very important player for us and we’re rapt to have him back in the team.”
Douglas is one of two inclusions in the Adelaide team to play Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.
Veteran Brent Reilly has also been recalled for his first AFL game of 2014.
Reilly suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Round 14 last year. The 2012 All-Australian nominee has played two games for Adelaide’s SANFL team, amassing 34 possessions in the Club’s trial loss to Woodville-West Torrens last weekend.
“Brent Reilly can play a variety of roles through the midfield and defence, so he gives us some flexibility and also experience,” Sanderson said.
“Radar didn’t play in the NAB Challenge, but he was able to do the majority of the pre-season training and has had a couple of games in the SANFL, so he’s in good nick.”
Douglas and Reilly replace inexperienced pair Jarryd Lyons and Brodie Martin (both omitted).
Lyons, Martin and forward Josh Jenkins have been named as emergencies. The squad for Adelaide’s SANFL trial against South Adelaide at 7:10pm on Friday will be named on Thursday night.
The sold-out Showdown starts at 4:15pm on Saturday and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy. A minute’s silence will be observed before the game in memory of the late Dean Bailey.
It will be the first game at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval. Gates open at 1:30pm. Crows supporters attending the game are encouraged to visit Elder Park pre-match and collect a free 19th Man flag. The Adelaide Oval Footy Express will provide free express bus, train and tram services for people with a valid footy ticket this season. Visit www.adelaideoval.com.au for times. Limited car parking will be available around the venue.
Fans are invited to attend the Club’s last training session before the Showdown from 11:15am at Adelaide Oval on Friday.
