Versatile duo Mitch McGovern and Andy Otten will both undergo post-season surgery in the coming days.
McGovern requires a minor arthroscopic procedure on both ankles, while Otten will have surgery to alleviate an Achilles issue which has troubled him in the second half of the year. Both players are expected to make a quick recovery.
Meantime, captain Taylor Walker and defender Daniel Talia have also had foot and thumb operations respectively during the past week, while rising star contender Tom Doedee also had a successful operation to repair a fractured collarbone. They are expected to have fully recovered when the squad resumes training in November.
