Bock a chance for Tassie trip
Nathan Bock’s chances of returning to the side for Saturday’s game in Tasmania should be clearer later this week.
Bock, who strained an adductor against St Kilda in round 10, did some training on the weekend but is yet to work at full pace.
His return would help Adelaide cover the loss of young defender Phil Davis for the Hawthorn clash at Launceston’s Aurora Stadium. Davis was yesterday cleared of a broken collarbone but has an AC joint sprain and concussion.
The Crows many also need to replace Andrew McLeod, unable to play after half-time on Saturday because of a sore knee. He is seeing a specialist this afternoon.
Bernie Vince (ankle) and Shaun McKernan, who withdrew from SANFL action to rest a sore quad, are both listed as “test” for this weekend.
Trent Hentschel (knee) is close to returning to football training and may be available to play in a fortnight.
