Adelaide forward Taylor Walker will run a cooking class for teammates and coaches on Thursday night.
As part of an initiative by Crows dietitian, Brie Salagaras, players will take turns hosting cooking classes via Zoom.
This week, Walker will take the reins and show his teammates how to cook the perfect omelette.
“We’re trying to be creative and have a bit of fun under the circumstances we’ve got,” Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said.
“A good example is last Thursday night we had a cooking class conducted by our dietician, Brie.
“Tex is hosting Thursday night’s class, he’s sent out the menu.
“I think we’re doing omelettes… a few of the boys are having fun with that and reminding Tex that it’s meant to be an evening meal, not a breakfast meal.”

Away from the lighter side of things, Kelly said players would use the suspended period for self-improvement.
“We have a lot of people looking into professional development, online learning, sharing matchday vision…,” he said.
“That’s the approach we’re taking, making sure we’re utilising the time to grow as individuals so when we come back, we see the benefits.”
