Crows star Erin Phillips is set to make her much-anticipated return to the AFLW on Sunday, named in Adelaide’s extended squad of 23.
The co-captain ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) 11 months ago in her side’s Grand Final victory over Carlton.
It’s only fitting she makes her return against the Blues in front of a home crowd at Hisense Stadium (Richmond Oval) for Round Four.

And she’s not the only big name set to pull on the tricolours for the first time in 2020, with ruck Rhiannon Metcalfe also selected in the squad.
The 28-year-old, who ruptured her ACL in the pre-season trial game last year, made her return to competitive football in the SANFLW last weekend.
However, she did sustain a minor ankle sprain in the match and will need to pass a final fitness test during the side’s training session on Thursday night to be available for selection.
The third addition to the squad is Irish forward Ailish Considine, who was omitted ahead of Round Three.

The game will also be broadcast live from 12.30pm on Fox Footy and 7mate Adelaide.
