Players and coaches both agree that when it comes to Showdowns, form counts for nothing. Brenton Sanderson and his men will certainly hope that proves the case because on performances so far in 2014, this looms a David and Goliath battle. Port's lead in Showdown wins has swelled in recent years and they’re now four to the good after winning the past three encounters. A loss for the Crows isn't an option if they're to keep their season alive, while the Power need the points to maintain their advantage atop the ladder.
