A nasty-looking injury against Geelong in Round Three appeared to have ended Paul Seedsman’s season prematurely...

But thankfully, Seedsman was cleared of an anterior cruciate ligament rupture and was able to return six weeks later against West Coast in Round 10.

The wingman played 13 games this year, including Round Two against Sydney when he kicked a 70.9-metre goal after the quarter-time siren.

Despite his stop-start season, Seedsman still managed to amass 19.1 touches per game at 79.4 percent efficiency - ranked elite by Champion Data.

The 27-year-old finished second at the Club for average metres gained - 412.3 per game, behind Brodie Smith in first with 511.6.

After avoiding serious injury against the Cats in Round Three, Seedsman embraced the return fixture in Geelong.

Just minutes into the match, Seedsman drew first blood and fired home a goal from outside 50 off the back of a clever Eddie Betts pass.

In the third quarter, Seedsman bagged his second thanks to a two-bounce run from the wing into the 50.

With support from key forward Taylor Walker, Seedsman evaded the tackle and slotted home from 45 metres out near the boundary line.

He finished with 28 touches and two goals despite the Crows going down by 27 points at Kardinia Park.
