Adelaide’s crew of Games contenders brought home some medals and performed strongly in London.

Here’s a summary of the performances of the Crows fans who represented Australia in the past fortnight:

Sam Willoughby: The current World Champion BMX racer claimed a silver medal after qualifying for the one-race decider with a series of impressive rides in the semi-finals.

Patty Mills: The Boomers star finished top of the point-scoring averages in London and also scored the most points in a single game. He finished with an average of 21.2 points (from six games) and score 39 against Great Britain. And who could forget his buzzer-beating three-point winner against Russia!

Hayden Stoeckel:  The 2008 backstroke bronze medallist finished seventh in the final of the 100m backstroke and then won a bronze medal leading out the Australian men’s 4x100m medley relay team.

Hannah Davis: A bronze medallist from at Beijing four years ago, Hannah and her kayak four reached the semi-finals of the 500m, finishing sixth.

Jack Bobridge: Won a silver medal with Australian the men’s team pursuit track cycling final. Great Britain won the gold medal in world record time.

Rachel Bugg: Partnering Loudy Wiggins, Rachel just missed out on a medal in the 10 metre synchronised platform diving. They finished fourth.

Johan Linde: Australia’s super heavyweight contender - whose trainer passed away the week before he went to the Games - had his first bout stopped by the referee in the second round.

Lleyton Hewitt:  Won his first two singles rounds and then took a set off World No 2 Novak Djokovic. Partnered Sam Stosur in the mixed doubles and reached the quarter-finals.

Laura Hodges: Won a bronze medal as part of the Australian women’s basketball team but was only used for four minutes in the whole tournament.
