A special Showdown edition of The Crows Show will shown at 1.30pm on Channel 7 Adelaide before Sunday’s big game at Adelaide Oval.
Adelaide and Port players including Patrick Dangerfield, Rory Sloane, Matt Jaensch, Brad Ebert, Ollie Wines and Travis Boak pay tribute to Phil Walsh by sharing some of their memories.
Dangerfield says seeing Walsh turn up at a 5am beach punishment session in his red Speedos made it clear that the coach would back up any statements with action.
Sunday’s episode of the club-produced show also features an interview with 2014 All Australian Daniel Talia and we join Rory Atkins before dawn at Morphettville racecourse, where he works with horses on his day off from the Club.
In our regular flashback segment we take a look at the brutal Showdown 24 played early in the 2008 season.
Josh Jenkins invites us into his “man cave” to check out his impressive sporting memorabilia collection and recruit Luke Lowden is on the sofa with presenter Alana Smith.
The Crows Show is brought to you by Farmers Union Iced Coffee. Segments will also be available on the Club website and app on Sunday afternoon. Previous episodes can also be viewed on afc.com.au
