Emerging midfielders Mitch Grigg, Jarryd Lyons and Matt Crouch have been included in Adelaide’s squad of 25 to play the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Matt Crouch, who sat out the NAB Challenge because of an ankle injury, will be hoping to play his first AFL game of the season. Grigg and Lyons have each played one AFL match as the starting substitute. Crouch, Grigg and Lyons have been named on an extended interchange bench along with Matt Jaensch, Matt Wright and Charlie Cameron.

The trio has been in strong form in the SANFL. Matt Crouch was the Club’s leading possession-getter in the loss to West Adelaide last weekend, finishing with 28 disposals, five clearances and four inside 50ms. Lyons also had a night out with27 disposals, seven clearances, six inside 50ms and two goals, while Grigg amassed 20 disposals, four marks, four rebound 50ms and a goal in three quarters against Westies.
At this stage, there are no omissions from the Crows squad, which will be trimmed to 22 on afc.com.au at 4:30pm (SA time) on Friday. Defender Luke Brown will celebrate his 50th AFL game against the Bulldogs this weekend.

The Crows will have an open training session on Saturday, April 25, from 9:00am at AAMI Stadium for approximately 45 minutes before flying to Melbourne. The post-match function on Sunday will be held at the Legends Bar on Level 2, via Gate 2 at Etihad Stadium.
Adelaide’s SANFL team will take on Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium on Friday night. Young onballer Sam Kerridge will make his return from a hamstring injury against the Bays.
