Marcus Bontempelli and Matthew Boyd are among five inclusions to the Western Bulldogs line-up to face Adelaide on Sunday at Etihad Stadium.

Bontempelli and Boyd, who were both late withdrawals from the club’s Round Three loss to Hawthorn, join Clay Smith, Bailey Dale, and Easton Wood as the inclusions to the Bulldogs’ Round Four squad.

Injuried duo Dale Morris (pectoral) and Mitch Wallis (back) are the confirmed omissions, with the Bulldogs to finalise their side on Friday.

Smith has not played since Round 10, 2014 following his second knee reconstruction and was one of Footscray’s best in the VFL last weekend.

Dale, selection No.45 in last year’s National Draft, has been named on an extended bench and could get the chance to debut on Sunday.

Wood will add height to Dogs defence looking to combat the top-of-the-table Crows.
