Adelaide continues to fly the Fantasy flag despite what was a disappointing result against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

The Crows had four players post triple-figure scores at Etihad Stadium. Adelaide has had at least four Fantasy centurions in every game so far this season and sits second in the League – behind only reigning premiers Hawthorn – for average points by a team per game in 2015.

Scott Thompson has starred since returning to the senior side.

The veteran midfielder top-scored for Adelaide with 125 points against the Dogs and ranks No.2 in the AFL for average points per game. ‘Thommo’ racked up a game-high 38 disposals, five marks, three tackles a kicked a goal on his way to his best Fantasy total since the Showdown XXXVII of Round 15 last season.

With a break even of just 75, Thompson is likely to continue his rise in value against the Power on Sunday. He’s already improved by $18k, but is in less than one per cent of all sides. Don’t miss out on some easy money this week.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs was another Crow who could hold his head high after Sunday’s loss.

Last year’s top-scoring big man, Jacobs amassed 43 hit-outs and 18 disposals to notch 117 points for his second 100-plus score of the season. The 202cm Crow remains the second-best ruckman in AFL Fantasy for 2015, behind only North Melbourne leviathan Todd Goldstein.

Jacobs has a projected score of 95 this weekend and he knows he has a huge challenge ahead opposed to Port’s ruck duo of Patrick Ryder and Matthew Lobbe. But big ‘Sauce’ loves Showdowns, and we’re backing the two-time Showdown Medallist to continue his good Fantasy form on Sunday.

Matthew Jaensch (114) elevated himself to No.6 of all defenders after a defiant showing against the Bulldogs. The rebounding backman collected 24 touches, nine marks and five tackles for his second Fantasy century of the season.

Patrick Dangerfield (110) responded after a tough day at the Fantasy office against Melbourne. Seven tackles and two goals helped him crack the ton despite a lower-than-usual possession tally of 19 disposals. ‘Danger’ loves the big stage and should surpass his break even of 89 at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Money-makers Tom Lynch (91) and Cam Ellis-Yolmen (82) continue to reap the rewards for Fantasy coaches.

Lynch has improved by $66k in his four games, while Ellis-Yolmen has exploded by over $160,000 and is the 12^th most selected player in the competition. Both players still have much more to give, so hang onto them for a few more weeks yet.

Jake Kelly (51) is another cheap option in defence that is worth a look. The former rookie has already banked $45k in his first two games but remains a bargain at $165,000 if he can hold his place in Adelaide’s starting lineup.
