Adelaide will reveal its inaugural Hall of Fame inductees at the showcase event of the Club’s 25th season on Wednesday night.
The Crows will pay tribute to a select group of players, coaches and administrators who have had a profound impact on the development of South Australia’s first AFL club, at a black-tie dinner at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
“It’s going to be an exciting and proud night for the Adelaide Football Club,” said Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan.
“Adelaide’s 25th season is an appropriate time to launch a Hall of Fame and the committee charged with making the selections has quite rightly ensured it’s a prestigious honour.
“In 24 years this Club has an impressive list of great players, as well as a number of others who have served as coaches or administrators.
“Once you start writing down a list of candidates it can be difficult to stop but the final inductees are all very worthy people who have made outstanding contributions to the Adelaide Football Club.”
The Hall of Fame event will be hosted by Hamish McLachlan, from the Seven Network.
The Crows will provide comprehensive coverage of the event through their official website and social media platforms.
A recent website poll of Crows supporters overwhelmingly nominated Andrew McLeod and Mark Ricciuto as the leading player candidates.
