Sam Kerridge will play his first game in over six weeks in Adelaide’s SANFL clash with Glenelg on Anzac Day eve.

Kerridge, who turns 22 on Sunday, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and hasn’t played since the Club’s opening NAB Challenge game against North Melbourne in March.

The hard-running midfielder starred in Adelaide’s final three SANFL games last season, averaging 27 disposals and five marks per match, and won a recall for the Crows’ final-round clash with St Kilda.

Kerridge was one of Adelaide’s most impressive performers on the training track throughout pre-season before being struck down by the injury.

He will start on a wing and is one of six possible inclusions for Friday night’s clash at Glenelg Oval.

Tall defender Matthew Johncock, the first cousin of Adelaide great Graham Johncock, and former West Adelaide junior Dylan Ribbons are in line to make their SANFL debuts at the Bay.

Originally from Mallee Park Football Club in Port Lincoln, left-footer Johncock is also a cousin of current Crow Eddie Betts. Ribbons is a strong-marking midfielder who previously represented South Australia in the National U18 Championships.

Wingman Justin Smart and big-bodied midfielder Myles Warmington, who both played one game with Adelaide in 2014, have been named on an extended interchange.

Mitch Grigg, Jarryd Lyons and Matt Crouch are in contention for Adelaide’s AFL squad against the Western Bulldogs, which will be finalised on afc.com.au on Friday.

Adelaide’s clash with the Tigers kicks off at 7.10pm on Friday night at Glenelg Oval with free entry for all Crows ticketed members. Radio station RPH will also broadcast the game live.

Last year’s Grand Final rematch sees Port Adelaide and Norwood battle at Adelaide Oval in the round’s other Friday night fixture.

Central District host the Eagles and North Adelaide clash with South Adelaide at Prospect on Anzac Day, before Sturt confront West Adelaide on Sunday at Peter Motley Oval to complete Round Four.
