Champion Data has released its statistical rankings of this year’s top 30 National Draft prospects.
GWS Academy player Jacob Hopper was rated the best player available by the numbers, ahead of fellow academy youngster Callum Mills.
The NSW pair edged out Victorian key talls Josh Schache and Jacob Weitering.
Attacking midfielder Darcy Parish rounded out the top five with versatile defender Aaron Francis the top-ranked South Australian, ranked No.6 by the AFL’s official stats gurus.
A total of five South Australians feature in the list. Francis and North Adelaide’s Ryan Burton were both ranked inside the top ten.
Left-footer Riley Bonner (19), Central District speedster Wayne Milera (21) and Norwood ball-winner Luke Partington (23) were the other Croweaters included in the rankings.
The Crows currently hold picks 9 and 13 in this year’s National Draft, to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Tuesday, November 24.
