Young Brisbane forward Josh Schache is among several potential inclusions for the Lions ahead of Saturday night’s clash with Adelaide.
Schache was rested from last week’s 94-point loss to Port Adelaide at the Gabba. It was only the second game the first-year Lion has missed this season.
The 18-year-old is equal-third in Brisbane's goalkicking this season with 16 majors. He also leads the club for contested marks (21).
Schache looks likely to join ruckman Stefan Martin, who was also managed last round, in returning to action for this week’s clash with the Crows.
Brisbane coach Justin Leppitsch also has several players who impressed in the NEAFL who may come under consideration.
Jarrad Jansen was named Brisbane’s best in last week’s NEAFL loss to Aspley. The former Cat collected 28 possessions, five clearances, laid six tackles and had three score assists in a complete performance.
Josh Clayton was another strong contributor with a team-high 30 possessions, seven tackles and six clearances and could come under consideration to make his AFL debut against the Crows.
