Taylor Walker's huge ride against Gold Coast has been voted the second-best mark by a Crow in 2015.

The Crows captain received just over 23 per cent approval from Crows fans in our RAA Marks of the Year poll on afc.com.au, edging out Eddie Betts' classic hanger in the goalsquare against St Kilda.

Nearly 500 fans took part in the survey, which featured the top seven marks of the season including two contenders from both Betts and Walker. Marks taken by Nathan van Berlo, David Mackay and Kyle Cheney were the remaining options available in the poll.

Walker's big fly took place late in the third term of Adelaide's clash with Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium in Round Six.

Matthew Wright set the ball up nicely for Tex to take flight against two Suns opponents deep in the forward pocket.

Walker launched himself at the footy and made the most of a nice ride, taking the ball cleanly despite close attention from direct opponent Henry Schade.

The effort earned him an AFL Mark of the Year nomination for Round Six.

Walker kicked four goals against the Suns as Adelaide went on to win the match by 41 points.
