The Crows and Western Bulldogs are the best tackling teams in the League, ranked first and second for total tackles, respectively. Adelaide has the highest tackle differential of any side, while the Bulldogs are third in tackles compared to their direct opponent.
The Bulldogs are ranked No.1 in the AFL for pressure acts (1,388) in the opening three rounds. In the first two rounds, they forced their opposition to handball the most in the AFL, highlighting their pressure around the contest.

Young midfielder Jack Macrae (75) is the Dogs’ leading possession-getter this season. Mitch Wallis, who will miss Sunday’s clash because of a back injury, is the club’s best contested-possession player. Wallis also leads the way in hard-ball gets and clearances.
Matthew Jaensch is ranked equal-third in the League for effective kicks (38). Dogs captain Bob Murphy (37) is seventh. Jaensch is also equal-second in uncontested marks (26).
Murphy remains a key playmaker for the Dogs. He leads the club for metres gained (1,447) – ranked 13th overall. Ricky Henderson (1,571) leads the way for Adelaide – ranked eighth.
Eddie Betts is equal-first in the AFL in score assists (nine). Betts is also second in forward 50m tackles and fourth in groundball gets among all the forwards.
Michael Talia, younger brother of All Australian Crow Daniel, ranks seventh in the AFL in marks from opposition kicks.
Rory Sloane is the highest-ranked midfielder (140.4) according to Champion Data rankings.
The Bulldogs play on from marks 37.7 per cent of the time – ranked firth in the League.
The Crows have conceded fewer points (60.3 average) than any other team this season. Adelaide is also ranked second in points for, averaging 103.3 points per game.
Dogs forward Tory Dickson has been involved in 26.1 per cent of his team’s scores – more than any other Bulldogs player. Dickson kicked three goals against the Crows last time the teams met and leads the Dogs’ goalkicking this season with six.
