Adelaide staged a 54-point turnaround to end West Coast’s unbeaten run at home this season.

The Crows trailed by 26 points midway through the third quarter, but piled on nine unanswered goals to run out 29-point winners.

The Eagles didn’t score after the 28-minute mark of the third term. It was the first time ever West Coast has gone scoreless in a quarter (the fourth) at Domain Stadium.

The loss was only the club’s third in its last 23 games at the venue.

Adelaide’s win was the third by an away team against a top-eight side interstate this season.

Rory Sloane collected an equal-game high 29 possessions on Saturday night, including 17 contested possessions – level with teammate Jarryd Lyons as the most on the ground.

Sloane was also the leading clearance player at Domain Stadium with nine.

Lyons won an equal-game high eight hard ball-gets with his 23 possessions.

The Crows won more contested possessions (168) than any other team in Round 12.

Rory Laird and Tom Lynch each took 10 marks against West Coast.

Richard Douglas took a team-high three contested marks.

Lynch had 13 score involvements– only St Kilda midfielder Jack Steven (14) had more for the round.

Kyle Cheney and Jake Lever each had 10 intercept possessions against the Eagles.

Of Lever’s 10 intercept possessions, six led to Crows goals. No player in the League generated more scores from intercept possessions than Lever on the weekend. He was involved in a total of 10 Adelaide scores - only Lynch (13) had more. Charlie Cameron also had 10.

Adelaide took a total of 16 marks from opposition kicks ranked behind only Hawthorn and Greater Western Sydney in Round 12.

Big-bodied midfielder Scott Thompson applied a game-high 12 tackles. Only Collingwood’s Levi Greenwood (15) laid more tackles over the weekend.

Adelaide recorded a season-high 89 tackles against the Eagles.

Defender Kyle Hartigan effected a game-high 10 spoils.

Paul Seedsman sent the ball inside attacking 50m seven times – more than any other Crow.

The Crows conceded the fewest inside 50ms (35) of any team on the weekend, while generating 65 forward 50m entries – ranked second in the League for the round.

Adelaide dominated the inside 50m count 23 – 3 in the lopsided last quarter.

Eddie Betts was the leading goalkicker on the ground with five. Josh Jenkins (three) and Taylor Walker (two) were Adelaide’s only other multiple goalkickers.

The come-from-behind win sees Adelaide climb one spot on the AFL ladder into seventh.
