The Crows relished a Fantasy feast against West Coast at Domain Stadium on Saturday evening with six players reaching triple-figure totals.

Rory Laird rewarded those who held onto him during his four-week injury layoff with a match-high 115 from 25 possessions, 10 marks and four tackles. It was Laird’s biggest score since Round Two and the fourth-best total of any defender for the long weekend.

While it was only his second ton of the year, Laird has been a consistent scorer all season with just two totals below 88. He ranks eighth of all backmen for average Fantasy points per round (96) and this figure is likely to climb beyond the 100-point barrier after the mid-season bye if he can continue his current form.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs continued his mid-season Fantasy resurgence with a 112 from 14 possessions, seven marks, 36 hit-outs and five tackles against the Eagles. ‘Sauce’ was the second-best ruck option of the round behind only Melbourne’s Max Gawn, who posted a mammoth 146 in Monday’s clash with Collingwood.

Following a sluggish start to the season by his high Fantasy standards, Jacobs has now notched four tons from his last seven games and ranks second at the Crows for total points this year. Jacobs’ value dropped as low as $462,000 a few rounds ago - over $70k less than his starting price - and he still represents good value priced under the half-million dollar mark.

He’ll take a break even of just 72 into next Thursday’s clash with North Melbourne, so consider him a safe option to trade in following Adelaide’s bye.

Midfielder Scott Thompson also recaptured his vintage Fantasy form with a 110 from 24 possessions, two marks and an incredible 12 tackles. It was the tough onballer’s fifth century of the season, but his first since Round Five after a lean few rounds on the Fantasy front.

A proven tackling machine, Thompson ranks 14th in the AFL for tackles and his dozen in Round 12 was equal-second for the long weekend behind only Levi Greenwood of Collingwood. His hunger for the contest means Thommo doesn’t necessarily need to win a heap of the ball to post big Fantasy scores.

The 33-year-old was a late withdrawal last week, which would’ve frustrated his Fantasy owners, but the veteran is sure to be refreshed and ready to go after the break as he marches towards AFL game No.300.

Fellow midfielder Rory Sloane was another triple-figure scorer with a 107 from an equal-match high 29 possessions and six tackles.

Adelaide’s Fantasy MVP so far this year, Sloane is the only Crow averaging over 100 points per game. His courageous performance against the Eagles was his sixth ton of the year and his fourth from his last five matches.

Surprisingly, the gun Crow is only in five per cent of teams. He remains fairly priced at $549,00 but will edge closer to the $600k mark if he continues his rich Fantasy form.

Tom Lynch keeps on keeping on, notching a 106 against West Coast from 23 touches and 10 marks and a goal.

Lynch currently holds a career-best season average of 90 points per game after what was his fourth ton of the year. He’s hit the scoreboard in all but two games this season, which makes him a valuable Fantasy commodity, and remains an underrated yet consistent scorer.

Popular dual-position option Paul Seedsman was the final Crow to reach triple figures with a 101 from 22 touches, seven tackles and six marks.

Seedsman has hit fine Fantasy form in recent weeks. It took him until Round Nine to crack his first Fantasy century as a Crow, but he’s since scored three triple-figure totals from his last four starts.

The long-kicking recruit has enjoyed a $50k boost in value so far this year and that number could rise even further given his generous break even of 58 for Adelaide’s next clash against North Melbourne.

While he didn’t reach the magical 100-point mark, Eddie Betts scored strongly on Saturday night with a 98 from his five-goal performance. It was a welcome response from the livewire forward following his worst output of the year (43) against St Kilda the round prior.

Emerging midfielder Jarryd Lyons capped off a strong four-week block leading into the bye with a 90 from 23 possessions and six tackles. He’s averaged 93 points through his last four games and has been one of Adelaide’s biggest cash cows this year, adding over $150k to his starting price. His first ton of 2016 can’t be too far away.
