Champion Data has released its statistical rankings of this year’s top 30 National Draft prospects.
Sandringham young gun Andrew McGrath heads the list ahead of North Ballarat midfielder Hugh McCluggage, who is tipped by many draft experts to be taken by Essendon with pick No.1.
Tim Taranto is rated the third-best player available ahead of Gippsland goalkicking midfielder Ben Ainsworth and Gold Coast Academy member Jack Bowes.
Four Sandringham Dragons prospects feature in the top 10, which relies on a complex algorithm to measure the statistical ranking of each player’s performances leading into the draft.
Larke Medallist Jack Graham is the highest ranked South Australian in the list at No.22. North Adelaide teammate Will Hayward is next in line at No.23 with Glenelg’s Jonty Scharenberg (No.28) the third and final Croweater named.
Adelaide holds picks 13, 43, 53, 67 and 89 in this year’s National Draft, to be held in Sydney on November 25.
