The Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation has received a $25,000 boost to support its work in the Indigenous community, courtesy of MAX Employment.

The Foundation was one of four charities supported by MAX in celebration of the success of their 2015 MAX campaign, 15,000 Stars for Christmas.

The campaign involved a three-month employment drive aiming to place 15,000 job seekers into work by Christmas Eve. MAX also pledged a total of $100,000 to four Australian charities as part of the campaign.

A cheque presentation was made by MAX Employment Director, Fiona Lamb which was gratefully accepted by Andrew McLeod and Crows Children’s Foundation Board Member, Nigel Smart.

“The Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation works tirelessly with students, families and schools to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We are thrilled to be able to donate to the Foundation to continue supporting their work,” Ms Lamb said.

“15,000 Stars aimed to not only find people work for Christmas, but support organisations that help the people we meet every day, from vulnerable youth, to Indigenous Australians, war veterans, and victims of domestic violence.

“We are proud to support the work the Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation do in their community, and would like to thank Andrew, Nigel and the Foundation for their support throughout the campaign,” Ms Lamb said.

The 15,000 Stars for Christmas campaign placed 15,939 in three months, with $100,000 in donations going towards the Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation, Mates4Mates, Kids Helpline and the Luke Batty Foundation.
