Jarryd Lyons will play his first game of Season 2016 after replacing Brad Crouch in the selected 22 to tackle Richmond.
On Thursday night, Adelaide named an unchanged side for Saturday’s Round Three clash at Etihad Stadium, but Crouch withdrew from the team on Friday after experiencing hamstring soreness.
Midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen was elevated to the emergencies alongside Riley Knight and Nathan van Berlo.
The Crows will wear the new clash guernsey for the first time in a premiership game as both the Crows and Tigers chase their second wins of the 2016 season. The match starts at 2.10pm local time.
Richmond, which has won its past four games at Etihad Stadium, has won four of the past six clashes against Adelaide. However, the Crows took the points in the most recent meeting at Adelaide Oval in Round 19 last season.
Defender Brodie Smith is set to become the 48th player to reach the 100 AFL game milestone with the Crows.
Richmond won its opening round game against Carlton but was overtaken in the last seconds of its Round Two game against Collingwood last Friday night, losing by a point.
“They (Richmond) are a really good, strong footy team,” coach Don Pyke said at Wednesday’s press conference.
“On the weekend they probably had the game won with a couple of minutes to go and unfortunately for them they let it slip.
“But they played some good, strong footy as they did the first week against Carlton. So they’re a really impressive side.”
Adelaide’s SANFL side will be aiming to stay unbeaten at the top of the premiership table when it takes on 2015 grand finalists Woodville-West Torrens on Sunday.
