Crows youngster Jordan Gallucci has been placed on the Club’s long-term injury list.
Gallucci, 19, fractured his jaw in a collision during Adelaide’s SANFL loss to Woodville-West Torrens last fortnight.
The first-year midfielder required surgery to repair the damage and won’t play again this season.
Players added to the long-term injury list are ineligible for selection for a minimum period of eight weeks.
The Club is permitted to upgrade a rookie to the senior roster as a replacement. Adelaide has not nominated a player for promotion at this stage.
Paul Hunter and Ben Jarman are the Club’s current rookie-listed players.
Gallucci joins fellow draftee Elliott Himmelberg (foot) and onballer Cam Ellis-Yolmen (knee) on the long-term injury list.
