Collingwood duo Darcy Moore and Travis Varcoe are likely to miss Sunday’s clash with Adelaide at the MCG.
The pair spent time in Melbourne’s Epworth hospital after suffering injuries in the Pies’ win over West Coast on Sunday afternoon.
Moore sustained a neck injury, while Varcoe dislocated his elbow and suffered a concussion.
Varcoe was helped from the ground after attempting to spoil Eagles defender Jackson Nelson in the third quarter of the clash.
"He is going to be banged up big time and the early prognosis is we may not see him for the rest of the year," Buckley told reporters after the match.
There is no time frame on a return for Moore, who left the ground after a group of players fell on his neck in a marking contest.
"Darcy has injured his neck in some shape or form," Buckley said.
"We're not exactly sure. We don't think it is serious but there were definitely precautions taken to not put him out on the field because he had a significant blow to it."
