Crows midfielder Brad Crouch has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing groin surgery on Monday.
Crouch had been suffering persistent groin soreness and last week it was decided surgery was the best course of action.
Crows Head of Football Brett Burton said the operation was a success and Crouch was expected to make a full recovery.
“The surgeon is happy with how the procedure went and Brad will now undergo a rehabilitation program,” Burton said.
“While it is too early to put forward an exact recovery timeframe, it is unlikely Brad will play again this year.”
