Adelaide will wait until later in the week before making a final call on three players injured during Sunday’s loss to the Giants.
Forward Tom Lynch suffered a side strain and Crows General Manager
“Lynchy strained his side (oblique) in a tackle during the GWS game, he was in a fair bit of pain obviously. He unsuccessfully attempted to go back out there in the third quarter.” Hass said.
“He’ll be assessed earlier in the week but he is unlikely for this weekend.”
The news is more positive for Richard Douglas who received a poke to the eye.
“An unfortunate injury for Dougy getting poked in the eye, he’s got a good scratch on the eyeball,” Hass said.
“It was quite uncomfortable for him and he wasn’t able to focus and therefore go back out on the ground.
“Things are tracking along nicely, he’ll obviously have to get through main training on Thursday, but we are hopeful that he’ll play on the weekend.”
Rory Laird suffered a knock to the hand and will also be assessed at the main training session this week.
“Lairdy has had x-rays, he has got a small fracture in his hand,” Hass said.
“It’s not displaced so that is a positive for us. He’ll need to get through training on Thursday as well, similar to Dougy, to be available for the weekend.”
Captain Taylor Walker (glute/back) and vice-captain Rory Sloane (foot) continue to build their training loads and are both aiming to return in the next fortnight.
