Nine players have repeated their effort from last year to make back-to-back Virgin Australia AFLW All Australian teams, as announced at a gala event in Docklands on Tuesday night.
Adelaide co-captain Chelsea Randall was named skipper of the side while last year's leader, Daisy Pearce, was named as Randall's deputy.
Along with Randall and Pearce, the others to repeat were Melbourne's Karen Paxman and Elise O'Dea, Brisbane duo Emily Bates and Sabrina Frederick-Traub, Carlton key forward Tayla Harris and Western Bulldogs premiership pair Emma Kearney and Ellie Blackburn.
Randall, midfielder Ebony Marinoff and defenders Ange Foley and Sarah Allan were all nominated for All Australian selection in 2018, but Randall was the only Crow picked in the final 21.
It caps off a brilliant season for the 26-year-old, who won the Crows Club Champion Award and shared the AFL Coaches’ Association Player of the Year award with Western Bulldogs midfielder Emma Kearney.
Randall also claimed consecutive Players’ Player and Most Courageous Awards.
The inspirational West Australian finished equal-fifth in the AFLW Best and Fairest award, polling six votes to finish eight behind runaway winner Kearney (14).
Marinoff also polled six votes in the count and, as the winner of the inaugural NAB AFLW Rising Star, presented the award to this year’s recipient, Chloe Molloy of Collingwood.
Young Crow Sarah Allan, who won Adelaide’s Best Defensive Player award earlier this month, finished third in the Rising Star voting with 15 behind Molloy (50) and the best player on the ground in the Grand Final, Dogs onballer Monique Conti (39).
Carlton forward Tayla Harris won Mark of the Year, in which Randall was also a finalist, while Demon Aliesha Newman's brilliant three-bounce goal won Goal of the Year.
Newman beat out Crows co-captain Erin Phillips, who kicked a ripper against the Western Bulldogs in Round Three, and Collingwood captain Steph Chiocci, who won the footy, spun and booted it from 40m to kick the sealer against Melbourne in Round Four.
