Adelaide has made two changes ahead of its Round Six clash against Greater Western Sydney on Saturday afternoon.

The Crows will face the Giants at Adelaide Oval, with defender Nick Murray named to return from a knee strain, which has kept him on the sidelines for the past two matches.

Midfielder Sam Berry is the other inclusion and is set to play his first AFL game of 2025, following strong performances with the Club’s SANFL side.

Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said Murray had worked hard to get back to playing, while Berry would be a welcomed addition.

“Nick’s recovery from the hyperextension and jarring of his knee has gone to plan and as we have become accustomed to with him,” Kelly said.

“He has done everything he possibly can to return to play at the earliest opportunity and his diligence to his physical preparation is consistently at an elite level.

“Bez had a great pre-season and has been knocking on the door of AFL selection throughout.

“He is one of our most powerful players, in and around the contest and also in the air, particularly for a player of his height, (and) with his attributes, as shown previously, he can come in and have a positive impact on the game.”

On-baller James Peatling will miss the match against his former side due to suspension, while Lachlan Sholl has been omitted.

Sholl has been named on the emergencies list alongside Jordon Butts and Luke Pedlar.

The match will form part of the AFL’s nine game Cultural Heritage Series, aimed at celebrating cultural diversity.

Adelaide will look to return to the winners’ list when it faces GWS at Adelaide Oval on Saturday at 3.45pm.
