Last Saturday, the sons & daughters of past and present Crows took part in a curtain raiser ahead of the clash with the West Coast Eagles at Adelaide Oval.
The next generation of Crows showcased their skills with parents watching on as names such as Ricciuto, Koster, Mickan and McDermott returned to the scene.
On this week’s edition of The Crows Show, brought to you by Foodland, Chris McDermott and Eddie Betts talk about the joy the day brought to kids and parents.
“To be able to play on the hallowed turf of Adelaide Oval is such a great thrill for them,” McDermott said.
“It is a great cross-section of old and new faces, of boys and girls playing. Great for everyone.”
This week we also see how well a pair of former Blues know each other in a quickfire Q&A with Sam Jacobs and Richmond’s Shaun Grigg.
Mark Bickley discusses with Alana Smith whether games in the AFL are too long, while we hear from midfielder Curtly Hampton on how he has stepped up his leadership in 2018.
On the Thomas Farms Junior Jam, Ivy joins Brodie Smith.
