Adelaide forward Eddie Betts has been nominated for Goal of the Year.
Betts, the winner of the 2015 and 2016 AFL Goal of the Year crowns, made his first goal of 2018 a special one in the Crows' 49-point win over St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
After taking a mark in the forward pocket midway through the second quarter, Betts ran around Saints defender Jake Carlisle boundary side before turning inboard and curling home the shot on goal around his body.
Betts is one of three weekly nominations, along with Sydney star Lance Franklin and Richmond youngster Jack Higgins.
Fans can view and vote for their favourite goal.
Voting closes the night before the commencement of Round Four.
All members of the public that vote and pick a weekly winner in the 2018 Goal of the Year will go into the draw to win $10,000.
At the end of each 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season Round, the AFL Media editorial team will nominate three goals for public voting.
In a change that came into effect for the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, footy fans will become the eleventh member of the AFL All Australian selection panel who will determine the overall winner for the Goal of the Year Award.
The 2018 Goal of the Year award winner will be announced at the 2018 Brownlow Medal Count. The player that wins the 2018 Goal of the Year will receive $10,000.
