Brisbane's Rhys Mathieson has been charged for striking Adelaide forward Jordan Gallucci during the first quarter of Saturday night's clash at the Gabba.
The midfielder has been offered a one-match sanction with an early plea after the incident was assessed as Intentional Conduct with Low Impact and High Contact.
The Brisbane Lions Football Club has until Tuesday morning to contest the charge.
