Crows co-captain Taylor Walker is expecting a carton of Lemon Ruskis in the next few days, courtesy of Sydney star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.
During Adelaide’s 26-point win over the Swans, the gun forwards exchanged a few cheeky words while the other was lining up for a shot.
Speaking on Triple M’s Roo & Ditts, Walker revealed a bet the pair placed during the set shots.
“Little story from the game, Buddy Franklin owes me a carton of Ruskis,” Walker said.
“I had a long shot outside 50 and he said the only bloke on this ground who can kick that far is me.
“Later on, he was having a set shot and I said ‘we’ll put a carton of beer on it, actually no, I heard you like cruisers, no you like Lemon Ruskis don’t you?’”
After Franklin conceded a small smile, Walker said he received a message later on Monday.
“I got him, I could see him smirking a bit,” he said.
He messaged me last night and said I’ll send a carton of Lemon Ruskis your way.

Walker also used the airtime to make another desperate plea to Patrick Dangerfield regarding the pub they co-own.
“Sloaney and I have been trying to get in touch with him about the pub we’re part owners of in Adelaide,” Walker said following the game on Friday night.
“Danger, if you’re watching, can you reply to Sloaney or I?”
Roo & Ditts co-host Mark Ricciuto - who also co-owns the pub - followed up on Tuesday morning and asked if Walker had received a response.
“Let me check my phone, nope,” Walker said.
