International Women’s Day was made extra special for several Crows AFLW players when they visited sick children at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital last Friday.
Chelsea Randall, Ebony Marinoff, Stevie-Lee Thompson and Marijana Rajcic were among the players who went through the ward delivering showbags full of Crows gifts.
The visit was organised by forward Sarah Perkins as part of her role in Adelaide’s Community Team.
“The girls got a lot of inspiration for the remainder of the season after seeing the children fighting with such strength and positivity,” Perkins told AFC Media.
The players took to social media to show just how much the trip meant to them.
