Adelaide’s co-captains have topped the Coaches’ votes for Round Five as Chelsea Randall nearly picked up the perfect 10 and Erin Phillips extended her advantage at the top of the overall leaderboard.
On the back of a season-high 23 disposals and seven marks, Randall recieved nine votes from Crows coach Matthew Clarke and Kangaroos coach Scott Gowans.
She finished with 11 contested possessions and four inside 50s from a hard-fought game.

Phillips received seven votes following her two-goal, 23 disposal outing, as her chances of taking out the AFLW Champion Player of the Year increased.
Her attacking prowess sparked the 35-point win and the Kangaroos were made to battle hard at every contest, Phillips had a game-high 12 contested possessions.

Hard-nosed midfielder Ebony Marinoff collected three votes following her 22 touches, 11 contested possessions and 10 tackles while Jess Foley also received three votes after she recorded 16 hit-outs and 16 disposals.
After five rounds Phillips has 33 votes and is seven ahead of Western Bulldog talent Kiara Bowers.
The 2018 AFL Coaches Association Lucky Chicken Eggs AFLW Champion Player of the Year was jointly awarded to Randall and Emma Kearney.
