Ken McGregor made a solid return from a hamstring strain with SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens on Sunday.

McGregor, who had missed the previous three AFL games because of a hamstring strain, kicked two goals in the first half while playing forward and then provided run from defence. He finished with 20 possessions.

Another Eagle Bernie Vince tried hard in the midfield, rotating off the bench, and had 10 possessions.

Ivan Maric was good in the ruck contests for the Port Magpies on Friday night, winning 22 hit outs.

Jonathon Griffin rucked off the bench for Central District and was good when thrown into action while Alan Obst also played in the league side.

Ben Hudson did not play with North on Friday night because he was an emergency for the Crows.
