Adelaide has made three changes for its clash against St Kilda at Norwood Oval on Friday night.

Brooke Boileau, Kiera Mueller and Deni Varnhagen have all earned a recall, and are named in the team.

Boileau and Varnhagen have played two games so far this season, while Mueller featured in the Crows’ opening Round match.

Forward Brooke Tonon will miss the Round Six game against the Saints, after injuring her ankle at training during the week, while Rachelle Martin and Taylah Levy are being managed.

Adelaide’s match against St Kilda is the start of the Club’s condensed fixture, with four games in 16 days.

“It’s unlikely every single player will be able to play in all four of our next games,” Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said.

“Bringing fresh legs into each game is going to be important during this next period, so we will be managing some players.

“We are going to need our full squad for the next four games and some will be managed over the next little bit.”

Harper said the Club expected Tonon to be able to push for a return next week.

“If Brooke had rolled her ankle during a game, she would probably have been fine the following week,” Harper said.

“But given she injured it yesterday (Wednesday) and only had two days to recover, she wouldn’t have been right for Friday’s game.

“We’re hoping she’ll be fine for next Wednesday night’s game, though.”

Martin and Levy have been named on the emergency list, alongside first-year player Lily Tarlinton.

The match will be Co-Captain Sarah Allan’s 75th game and the Crows’ first at Norwood Oval for 2024.
