Crows players have been making the most of their off-season break, with many using the time to travel overseas and experiencing other cultures.

Here’s what they’ve been up to:

Vice Captain Ben Keays travelled to Europe and the United Arab Emirates, visiting places including Dubai, Croatia, and Amsterdam.

Teammate Sam Berry was with Keays in Croatia.

Forward Lachie Murphy and fiancé Madison went to the Swiss Alps, and also visited Bergen, a city on Norway’s southwestern coast.

A group of Crows, including Jake Soligo, Riley Thilthorpe, Luke Nankervis, Zac Taylor, Max Michalanney, Hugh Bond, Billy Dowling and Berry travelled to Europe together.

They visited places in England, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Ireland.

In England, the players watched a Liverpool soccer game.

Josh Rachele returned to his grandparents’ birth countries, visiting both Italy and Greece with partner Cartia. The pair enjoyed the sights in Rome, Pompeii, Milan, Sorrento and Mykonos.

Vice Captain Reilly O’Brien and Ned McHenry and former Crow Jake Kelly trekked up mountains in Vietnam.

One to four year players are due to return to West Lakes for pre-season on Monday, November 11, while the five-plus year players will be back on Monday, November 25.

All players will then break again for Christmas on December 19, before returning on January 8, 2015.
