Adelaide will enter its Round 12 match against Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday with an unchanged line-up.

The Crows have opted to stick with the team fresh off a 99-point victory against West Coast in Round 11.

Midfielder Harry Schoenberg is named to play his second game back from injury, following a successful return to the AFL in the clash against the Eagles last week.

Midfielder Sam Berry, who was the substitute in last weekend’s game, has been named on a five-player interchange bench, alongside Rory Laird, Luke Nankervis, Brayden Cook and Lachlan Murphy.

The Crows will name this week’s substitute an hour before the first bounce.

Defender Will Hamill, Ned McHenry and Kieran Strachan have been named as Adelaide’s emergencies.

Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said it was important to reward good form and have some stability within the team.

“The fact we are going into the game against Hawthorn unchanged signifies how pleased we were with our performance against West Coast last weekend,” Kelly said.

“It really was a four-quarter performance where every player delivered on their role and contributed strongly.”

The Crows will be hoping to break their MCG hoodoo when they take on the Hawks, having not won a match at the venue since 2017.

“The Hawks are one of the form teams in the competition, having won four of their past six matches,” Kelly said.

“It is a credit to them, the way they have recovered in the season and got their game going, they certainly present a great challenge for us on Saturday.

“We will contend that in recent history we have played well at the MCG, having been within a kick of Collingwood twice and Melbourne once in our only three games there in the past two years but we haven’t come home with four points.

“We would like to change the narrative and the only way to do that is by winning.”

Adelaide plays Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday, with the first bounce at 1.15pm (ACST).

The game will be broadcast live on Kayo and Fox Footy from 1pm and on Channel 7 Adelaide at 4pm.
