Nathan Bassett, Graham Johncock and Trent Hentschel will put their fear of small planes aside to fly to the small Eyre Peninsula community of Wudinna on Thursday.

The Crows trio will spend the day hosting AFL clinics on the Wudinna Town Oval with more than 370 children from the Eyre Peninsula taking part.

Area schools from the small farming communities of Pt Kenny, Karcultaby, Kimba, Cleve, Lock, Elliston and Wudinna will be involved in this opportunity.

The visit to Wudinna is just one of a number of country visits planned by the Adelaide Crows on Thursday, June 22.

With the bye this week, Crows players have jumped at the chance to visit regional areas and spend time with their loyal and passionate supporter base.

Twenty percent of the Adelaide Crows’ membership comes from regional areas and this is the fifth year in succession the Team for all South Australians has scheduled regional visits during the season.

Ben Rutten, Nathan van Berlo and Ivan Maric will be in the Riverland, while Scott Thompson and Chris Knights will be kept busy in Mt Gambier.

A group of 11 players will spend the day in the Barossa while further trips are planned for Balaklava, Keith and the Yorke Peninsula in July and August.

In total more than 3000 children will be involved in the clinics this Thursday.

The Adelaide Crows have already had a strong presence in regional areas this year with Carlton Draught Crows Shed parties held at sell-out venues in Loxton, Port Lincoln and Mt Gambier, entertaining more than 550 supporters.

Port Augusta will host the final regional shed party for the year on July 9.

In their second year, the Crows Shed parties are an initiative of the Adelaide Football Club and Carlton Draught aimed at being inclusive and embracing the legion of loyal and passionate members and supporters based in the country.

It is a chance for Crows fans that don't or can't get to home matches to watch a live telecast of a Crows away game on big screens with hundreds of other screaming fans.

Mark Ricciuto and Simon Goodwin were special guests at the Port Lincoln event while Ben Hudson and Darren Jarman entertained the Riverland fans, and Nathan Bock and D. Jarman warmed up the supporters in the South East.
