Crow defender Phil Davis will miss the next three or four games to rehabilitate a shoulder sprain.

The young defender was hurt early in Saturday’s loss to Fremantle at AAMI Stadium. He had scans on Sunday and his specialist last night confirmed the diagnosis.

Michael Doughty, recovering from a corked leg that kept him out of the Fremantle clash, is set to miss another match.

But medical staff are confident that Richard Douglas (hip) will be fit to play in Saturday’s Balfours Showdown at AAMI Stadium, while Bernie Vince (ankle) hopes to be able to train later in the week.

The club has closed session tonight at AAMI Stadium. The next open session is on Thursday at 10.30am on Max Basheer Reserve.
