It was a year of milestones for Eddie Betts with the veteran playing his 300th AFL game in Round Five and booting his 600th goal in Round 22.
In his sixth season at West Lakes, the 32-year-old played 21 games in 2019 and kicked 37 goals to finished second behind Taylor Walker in Adelaide’s leading goalkicker tally.
He kicked bags of six in Adelaide’s two encounters with the Gold Coast Suns, the first of which was his 300th game.

It was only fitting that Betts put on his best performance of the season in his 300th AFL game in Round Five.
In front of a packed out Adelaide Oval on Easter Sunday, the small forward put on a masterclass, kicking six goals from 14 disposals.
His final goal of the day - a left-foot checkside from the boundary line - picked up a Goal of the Year nomination for the round, which is now one of three finalists for the 2019 Goal of the Year.
