Adelaide has again named an unchanged line-up ahead of its Round Eight match against Geelong on Saturday.

The same starting 22 picked for the past three rounds will travel east to take on the Cats at GMHBA Stadium.

“We continue to be in a good position with regard to player availability and consistency of performance, and this is resulting in stability in team selection,” Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

Midfielder Harry Schoenberg, who came on as the substitute in the fourth quarter of last weekend’s one-point loss to Collingwood, has been omitted.

Kelly said Schoenberg would be given a full game in the Club’s State League clash with North Adelaide.

“Hopefully this will result in the continuation of the good form that Harry had been in at SANFL level and continued pressure being placed on the squad to perform well to maintain their opportunities in the AFL team,” Kelly said.

Forward Elliott Himmelberg, defender Patrick Parnell, as well as midfielders Matt Crouch and Ned McHenry have been named as this week’s AFL emergencies.

One will be selected as the Crows’ substitute an hour before the first bounce.
