All Australian defender Ben Rutten will lead the third Redline Classic bike ride, from October 28-30.
Travelling in excess of 400 kilometres in three days, the 2014 Redline Classic will also feature former Crow Brad Moran, ex-Australian cycling coach Charlie Walsh and several Adelaide Football Club staff.
In 2012, the money raised by the Classic contributed to the total funding for two Crows Foundation projects, including Camp Quality’s Middle Camp and the Asthma Foundation’s schools programs.
The team have partnered with the Crows Foundation again this year and are raising funds through several avenues, including a painting donated by award-winning artist Jacky Murtaugh (whose husband Kraig is part of the ride). The painting is entitled ‘The Black Train’.
