Melbourne has held its faith with the side that lost by two points to Geelong in Round 18, making no changes to the squad travelling to Adelaide.
Geelong claimed victory with a goal after the siren, and while coach Simon Goodwin was disappointed, he believes the team can challenge the Crows.
“We thought the team functioned well last week and that’s given us an opportunity to go in unchanged,” Goodwin said.
“It’s another big hostile environment to go into – Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval. There is no bigger challenge than that and we’re looking forward to it.”
James Harmes will play despite having hand surgery on Monday while Jordan Lewis plays his 300th, and Dom Tyson his 100th.
