Veteran pair Matthew Clarke and Ben Hart are in the mix to be included in the Crows' final line-up for Friday night's NAB Cup semi-final against Melbourne at AAMI Stadium after being named in a provisional squad of 28 on Wednesday along with Michael Doughty, Brad Sugars and Richard Douglas.

Adelaide will again be without skipper Mark Ricciuto (hamstring) and has lost John Hinge (foot stress fracture), Hayden Skipworth (calf) and Nathan Bock (back) from last Saturday's winning line-up against Hawthorn.

Melbourne appears likely to be boosted by the return of experienced pair Adem Yze and Clint Bizzell, as well as midfielder Brent Moloney. Brock McLean, who had been expected to be named after apparently overcoming a quad strain, has missed out.

Jared Rivers (elbow) and Matthew Warnock (broken thumb) who were both injured in the Demons' quarter-final win over Brisbane at Carrara, will miss. Ryan Ferguson is fancied to fill Rivers' role in defence.
