Forward McKenzie Dowrick has been ruled out for the remainder of Season Seven after rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in Showdown I on Friday night.
Dowrick sustained the injury as she jumped up to take a mark in the third quarter of the match and her right leg buckled beneath her.
Scans confirmed the damage on Saturday.
Crows Head of Women's Football Phil Harper said Dowrick would undergo surgery soon and then begin her rehab.
“We are shattered for McKenzie as she has worked extremely hard for a long period of time to force her way into our team," Harper said.
"But we are sure she will continue to work hard in her rehab and we will support her with all the resources she requires to successfully return to playing the game she loves as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, scans confirmed winger Eloise Jones has a sprained foot - an injury she sustained midway through the final term of Friday night's Showdown.
Harper said Jones would be assessed in the coming days, ahead of the Crows' Round Seven match against Fremantle at Unley Oval on Saturday.
