Adelaide etched its name in the AFLW history books once more after defeating Port Adelaide by 60 points in the inaugural Showdown.
Skipper Chelsea Randall was intent on making a mark early, booting two first-quarter goals (and three for the game) in the 8.15 (63) to 0.3 (3) thumping at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
Randall won the inaugural AFLW Showdown medal on the back of her 27 disposals, seven clearances and three majors, looking a class above throughout.
Adelaide found just too many free targets in attack, and its ability to find a path to goal when inside 50 was exceptional.
It's also the second straight week the Crows have not conceded a goal, following their record-breaking win over Greater Western Sydney.
The few times Port Adelaide found itself in some space, it moved the ball with positivity and intent, but the opportunities were few and far between, and depth in its inside 50 entries was an issue.
The Crows just never let up throughout the game, the only knock on the performance was their inaccuracy in front of goal, but the only thing that cost them was percentage.
Anne Hatchard (24 disposals, nine marks) and Ebony Marinoff (24, 11 tackles) shared the footy among each other, with the Power players unable to match their ability to cover the ground.
Reflective of where the game was played, Power key defender Alex Ballard led her side in disposals (18), with many of her touches coming via kick-outs, and it was tough going for the team's young midfield, who struggled to get their hands on the footy.
McKenzie Dowrick's side may have got the win over younger sister Abbey, but the powerful Crows forward suffered a potentially serious right knee injury, her leg buckling when attempting to jump for a mark in the third term. Eloise Jones' game finished late in the fourth with a foot complaint.
Power young gun Hannah Ewings landed awkwardly on her back in a marking contest early in the second term. She received treatment at times throughout the match, but played out the game.
